On Friday, February 13, 2009, the House of Representatives and the Senate, passed H.R. 1, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (the “Economic Stimulus Bill”), that includes multiple tax credits and other incentives for businesses and individuals.

Catherine Saba Giering elected as chair-elect of the 2009 Young Lawyers Section Council of the Baton Rouge Bar Association.
The Young Lawyers Section is composed of members of the association who are 36 years of age or younger or have been lawyers for five years or less and is dedicated to service to the bar and young lawyers in particular, the profession in general, and the community.
