Michael is a graduate of McNeese State University (B.S., 1999), Louisiana State University (J.D., B.C.L., 2002) and the University of Denver (LL.M., 2003). After graduating from LSU, Michael relocated to Denver, Colorado, where he obtained an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Denver. After initially practicing in Colorado, Michael returned home to Louisiana in 2005. Michael was admitted to the Louisiana Bar and United States Tax Court in 2003, and the Colorado Bar in 2004. Michael holds membership in the Baton Rouge Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association-Taxation, the Colorado Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
