Catherine Saba Giering
Junior Partner


Born in Portland, Oregon, and raised in Winnsboro, Louisiana, Cathy graduated from Louisiana State University (B.A. 1996) and the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University (J.D. 1999). She was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1999 and is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Middle, Eastern and Western Districts of Louisiana, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit, as well as all Louisiana State Courts.  Cathy was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity, the Lafayette Parish Bar Association, and the Lafayette Young Lawyers Association (Law Week Committee Chairman – 2003; Community Service Chairman – 2003) and is currently a member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association (Membership Committee 2004 - present), Young Lawyers Section of the Baton Rouge Bar Association (Young Lawyers Council 2006-present), Louisiana State Bar Association, American Bar Association (member of the Litigation Section, Employment and Labor Law Section, Young Lawyers Section, and Torts and Insurance Practice Section), Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel and Defense Research Institute.  Cathy serves the Baton Rouge community as a member of the Board of Directors of the Charles Lamar YMCA (2005-present; Board Development Committee) and the Junior League of Baton Rouge (2005-present; Asst. Chairman of the Training Committee).
